That video was so cool. I can't believe image AI is so fine tuned. It's kind of scary though. It makes me think anyone could be a travel blogger without ever leaving their couch 🤣
I heard of one creator who faked everything. His whole trip. Another posted a hotel that doesn't exist and people want to book a hotel room there.
It's really powerful for fantasy authors and children's book authors because you can see what you get if you prompt Firefly to create your characters.
There will be one more tutorial about creating art with AI (Canva!!). It's a big tutorial on creating ebooks, short videos etc.
Thanks for your comment on YouTube. Means A LOT for my small channel with...13 long form videos^^ Thanks for supporting an ambitious and hard working solo business mom :D, Kristi.
I'm down for learning how to create ebooks on Canva. I have a premium account but haven't taken a deep dive yet. I'm interested in making journal books maybe.
Ah that's cool! This is a question I get asked a lot. Check my archive. I shared a post here where I show how to create an eBook.
In my upcoming Canva Magic video I also share further awesome and magical things to do, for instance repurposing content. Thanks for your engagement, Kristi. Means a lot
Oh what writing goals did you set for yourself and met? I published a story with The Taoist Online. Was fun writing about my love to the 🪸🌊 ocean. I left everything behind and moved to a German island.
What are your goals for 2024? Thanks quarter is super interesting in terms of planning 2024. I was wondering about sharing a special content calendar with my subs for 2024. Would this be something for you? Thanks so much for your comment and taking the time, Jan!!
Patrick from Taoist Online published it within a few minutes. Do you write for Taoist Online? It's a Boost-eligible pub. i'm playing around with the Boost-eligible pubs for an upsoming article/video. It's the first time I tried his pub. I think you get decent clicks. Engagement is good and several followers reached out to me and said it would be wonderful to (finally) see a personal story again. At the moment I rather like to share my experiments and entrepreneurial journey.
Hi Heather, sure! Adobe really is incredible. You should give it a try. Is guest posting on you pub a thing? How are you faring with this strategy?
Btw I used to be a comms pro too. I studied journalism and comms and then started in one of the world's biggest Comms marketing agencies. What are you doing exactly? Great to be connected with you on Substack
Mitchell is the first person who has guest posted on After 21 Club. He has actually done 2 guest posts....one offering up one of his puzzles and now this one about you and DALL-E 3.
After 21 Club is only a few months old. The concept ( 6 different topics each Friday) works well for guest posts, so I'll continue to look for people who would enjoy participating.
My 'main' Substack is called Kindness Magnet, which has been going for a couple of years. I haven't had guests there, but it's a possibility.
In general, I think the idea of guest posting provides a good opportunity to get to know someone better, share their work, and both benefit from reaching their audiences. I mostly just invited Mitchell because I've gotten to know him, respect him, and wanted to help him grow his audience.
It sounds like you have a lot of experience in communications! And from a different vantage point that mine. I ran the training and development for the admissions team and the outside sales team for the largest university (at that time) in the US and started the online campus for the military. Over the years I learned a lot about the art and science of communication.
It looks like you've got a nice business going there!
It is nice to connect. Kudos to Mitchell for that!
Hi Heather, I started as a Comms and Marketing Consultant in an international agency and then became a brand manager in healthcare for an international company.
Wow! Your CV is impressive, Heather. I also think guest posts can be a way to help others and fill gaps, such as summer break or maternity leave.
If it offers value to my audience I crosspost stories here on Substack. I also recommend a handful of writers that I've been staying in contact with during the last past almost 3 years.
Hi Mitchell, ❣️ thanks for being part of my journey and take inspir-ACTION!
Thanks also so so much for your feedback . Editing really takes a lot of time. The whole process from idea to final video is about 8-10 hours. This is a lot for a part-time creator and mom. That's why it's so so important to get your support.
Since my channel is new and small with 13 videos, I'm grateful for all support I can get.
That's the idea behind my engagement nudge. Kristi and you left a comment on YouTube so that they show my video to more people. It's all about thumbnails and headline... So I experiment a lot. Change it or adapt it. This takes also several hours plus promoting it and repurposing the content
Wish there were an AI tool that could help me with all this 😆
There are tools for instance with Canva you can create multiple posts from one blog post. Will show more in the next tutorial and last edition of my AI Image Creation for Beginners here on Substack.
Thanks Kristina - really enjoy your articles and videos! As a non techie who loves all things technology, I am learning so much 😊

I'll go check!
Wow! My reward today for getting my writing goals met will be to play with Firefly.

Congrats on your story coming out in The Taoist! My 2024 goals are still in flux, but beginning to gel -- but thanks for asking!
I see :D

Thanks for the mention (for me and for Mitchell, who is amazing) Kristina. It was fun to see DALL-E 3 in action. Adobe Firefly looks terrific!

Is your Kindness Magnet a paid newsletter?
