Only just came across this post of yours. It’s funny, I thought I was subscribed to your newsletter all this while but I wasn’t? Anyway, did it now.
Notes changed my life. I had just over a 100 subscribers in Jan this year after nine months of writing on Substack. With the help of Notes, my subscriber count is close to 900 today. My newsletter experienced a spectacular boom, however things seem to have slowed down now. I wonder if that has happened with most people or just me?
I would love some advice on how to still use Notes to our advantage.
I’m trying to get the hang of notes in the sense that I have 2 newsletters on here. Without posting links how will followers know which newsletter to follow? I have one I’m more active on than the other. I read not to post links to recent newsletters as that’s not the way to do it 🤷🏼♀️
Thank you, Kristina and David. This was very valuable information. I've been on Substack for a few years, but I'm just learning about Notes and Recommendations now.
Very much unbelievable! I write a gratitude daily note and more, but still in the early days .. a few likes are better than none 🤪 but I do it because I like it, more than likes. I do like when people respond as I feel more helpful and a tiny tad proud of myself too 😁

Thanks in advance though ✨
I love your article Kristina! And the interview with David is wonderful.
It has really motivated me to keep g(r)o(w)ing here!
I started two days ago and I am still editing the platform, but I am now super inspired in how I am going to use it.
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing this. Gonna dig into it.

Twitter/X is highly “curated” and continues to select voices. I hope Substack never moves in that direction.

Good to see success!!!
Hmmm. Had one note go viral, 0 subscribers from it. I do enjoy Notes and will continue participating.
Ok so that's a pretty compelling collection of screenshots... maybe it IS time to up my Notes game.
Thanks for inspiring and sharing tips, Kristina, grateful I subscribed to your helpful newsletter!
I'm looking forward to people discovering my mission to Restore Soils and Souls.
Notes = a fun, informative and community building way to engage and grow!
Cool.
If only ”followers” was removed, the Notes would been godlike!
There IS a problem or two. Notes are not indexed by Google. And it is not possible migrate our notes. It is rented land for now.
Nice! Good info Kristina!

Thanks to Notes, my audience DOUBLED in the past 7 days. From 162 -> 350 and counting 🤯🤯🤯 Absolute bonkers!!! I had 2 'viral' notes that did it.
How did you do it! Well done 👏👏👏
