In answer to your question, I write nearly ALL of my stories with boosting in mind. Before the boost thing I had about an 85% curation rate. I've been on Medium for 4 years with a catalog of nearly 500 stories. Since boosting came about only ONE story has been given the privilege.

Scroll through my profile and you'd see that pretty much all of my stories are significant human experience stories, and they're NOT crappy ones.
Hi Kristi, checked it. You write for several of the Boost eligible pubs and all of your stories are based on your experience. This is 👍. Back in the day 85% curation rate was awesome. Since Tony became Medium's CEO a lot has changed...
Two questions: I wonder 🤔 if you were happy with the results of your Boosted piece and of you see an increase in your earnings based on the new earnings model. You get a lot of engagement and claps (compared to others) and should benefit from this.
I think your stories are definitely Boost worthy. Patience is key. Medium doesn't Boost as many stories as they chose for further distribution.
As Ariel shared in my interview, time has changed. Medium (and the internet) isn't the place it used to be anymore. The old CFFD model is dead.
I've been writing for Medium for 2,5 years now with about 1,800 stories in my library. My curation rate was pretty good as well.
With my meta posts about Medium here on Substack as well as on Medium I always try to encourage and inspire others and hold their hands when things get tough.
Thanks again for sharing your complaints and thoughts about the program!

I guess that's the reason I have complaints.
