Very inspiring post, you should try to format it for Linkedin in French (as it is the native language of your audience) with a good hook and the same marathon man picture. I'm sure it will work and will interess a lot of content creators.

Thanks a lot, Jean-Baptiste! I don’t usually promote my newsletter on LinkedIn, but it’s a great idea to start sharing marketing strategies there, especially once I reach 1k subscribers.

Sub stack school is a great concept. It inspires and empowers us from many ways. Kristina's contribution is exemplary! I am fan of Kristina God!

I always see her posts, videos, presentations and writeups. All of them are more informative and useful to people like us as beginners. It helps a lot to encourage ourselves as performers and upcoming leaders in this field. It gives scope to upgrade and update ourselves by involving and learning on regular basis. Sharing is caring. We should share our success with others. It gives satisfaction.

Positive mindset gives positive results. It helps to understand better to know the ground realities. Nothing happens instantly. Instant results will not fetch much. Learning is a lifelong process. We should put our sincere effort. Effort alone yields the best results. Our effort is our valuable asset. Keep on doing! Consistency gives confidence and courage. Determination and dedication keeps us to sacrifice and focus more on our desired goals. Goal setting is a must. Set a goal and achieve it.

Congratulations Alexander Zermati! Your commitment made you to reach peak. Number is not the criteria. People will come and go. Content is most important. Quality dominates everything. It qualifies us to the next level in reality. At the beginning we all should start from zero only. Slowly it pics up! Everything takes some reasonable time. We should wait for it. Let us have patience. Wait for an opportunity. Rome was not built in a day. All the glitters are not gold. If we want gold we should dig it deeply. We can't get it on surface.

Sub Stack is the best platform to write our blog articles. It gives plenty of opportunities. We should expose ourselves by involving to enjoy the journey as writers and help others by contributing at our level best is the key. Congratulations Alexander on your success. Kristina is indeed a wonderful person for learning how to use Substack better.

Notes is great for gaining more visibility.

And I absolutely love recommendations. I currently have 791 subscribers and 284 of those have come from recomendations.

Here's to pushing past 1k by the end of the year.

Great read. I have 90 subscribers, with none paid. I have been writing on Substack for nearly 3 years and love it so much that I refuse to give up. No matter how few subscribe to my newsletter, I care more about the process of writing. It helps me blow off steam and is very relaxing.

👋 Hi Yannis, there you are again! Super fan 😊

Loved his story and needed to feature it.

Never quit. No matter what.

Great reminder and example.

Now he'll reach 1000 subs and the possibilities will be endless. He's writing in French. I could imagine that he also could get sponsorship deals, use affiliate links to his sources etc.

Plus, he can now go live and share a bit more about his stories.

Recommendations are a growth machine and this is a great example. Plus being active on Notes.

Together you can fire up your Substack powerhouse

he'll gonna be happy about all this beautiful comments.

Are you already connected with Lisa Zuba and all the other 50+ writers I recommended a few weeks back?

My tip: follow each other, engage, ask for collabs, write guest posts, recommend each other and engage on Notes.

This is encouraging to read!

LinkedIn has been helpful for me, though. Yes you can’t usually put an external link. (however there is a way to get around this)

But, you now have a space at the top of your profile to put a “Subscribe to Newsletter” link. You’ve also got a “Featured” section in your profile.

Lastly, you can start your own LinkedIn newsletter and all your followers get a notification to subscribe. I basically post part of my newsletter on LinkedIn and then link to my Substack if you want the full version.

Thank you, Wes. I’ve tried the different techniques you mentioned (except the LinkedIn newsletter). My experience is that LinkedIn is not the most relevant place to discuss history. That’s why I’ve focused my efforts on X and Notes, which are more effective in terms of engagement for my topic.

I was going to subscribe to Christiana's paid newsletter so I could gain more knowledge but she couldn't even respond to my DMs or even the comments I left on her posts so I gave up on her. Glad it's working for you

Hi Vivi, not sure why you're thinking this. You can ask all my members. I'm always responsive but I'm also having a family and two kids. The comments are a mess 😂 I can't keep up with them right now. I try to reply to everyone. Often it takes a while.

Sorry to hear you're frustrated. Would be happy to have you. Just send me a DM! ❤️
