I’d love to know more about Substack’s plans for Notes. I’ve heard some talk about an algorithm and wonder how it’ll impact on visibility.

Hey David, great question. I love Notes (the Twitter for writers). It's a great tool to discover others and it definetly helps when my readers re-stack my posts. This boosts my visibility. I'm also curious to find out more about this. Hopefull there's no algo coming to Substack ^^ hope it's just a rumor. I'll ask Christina. Talk soon!

All I want is for Substack to be properly insured against any further PR disasters similar to the Nazi thing.

Hi David, did you hear that Platformer leaves Substack?

Hi David, I read the article in The Atlantic. Today I read in the newsletter The Platformer that the petition "Substackers against Nazis" was successful. Substack says it will remove Nazi publications from the platform. In case you have any specific questions, let me know.

This is great Kristina!

I would love to know if Substack has any plans to improve our stats dashboard. Specifically, I'd like to be able to sort post stats in ascending and descending order, like we can do on Medium. I am starting to work with other Stackers to help with their backends and it would be REALLY valuable for me to be able to sort based on specific stats so I don't have to scroll so much.

Hi Kristi, See? Christina is happy to answer all of our questions :D Will talk about the stats dashboard in the interview as well. Thanks for your feedback and for re-stacking. Talk soon!

You should be able to do this now! If you go into your dashboard, click on stats, and then click on emails you'll see every post ever sent and you can sort by date, opens, amount of subscriptions it drove, etc. A lot of people miss this but it's where I like to look at post data.

Thank you for this! I have seen this page before but I wish it was ALL visible without having to scroll the page to the right.

It does include comments and likes, but not restacks - you have to scroll over to the right to see those. And yea may be impossible to not have a scroll there unfortunately with all that data.

Love this post! I'm wondering if Substack has more SEO tools on the horizon. For example, I'd love a feature where I can add an internal link without having to go to a separate page, do a search on my site, and copy the link.

Also, it would be very nice to be able to categorize subscribers. I know you can put them in different newsletters, but I'm looking more for something like tags for subscribers in the subscriber table. So I can tag them "website" (as an example) and then see statistics about THAT tag, e.g. how engaged my website subscribers are.

Hi Maureen, great questions! I would also love to learn more about SEO on Substack.

Segmentation is something that CK (ConvertKit) offers and is a leader in. I recommended CK to my husband because he needs segmentation for his online business. You are right. It would be great if there were more features. I will ask Christina about this in our conversation. Maybe she'll answer your question here too, like she did below :D

Did you know that? As far as I know, you can filter your subscribers and see how many newsletter issues they have opened etc.
