Writing every day requires a new inspiration every day. This is so hard! But I agree with you that stability is the most important thing in everything in life. Stable life! Thanks for your article.

And focus. If you focus on writing online (part time) you can really transform your life and yourself.

My whole issue with consistency is- my narrative of whom I am or what I want to do might change as I dig deeper into my craft- writing. When I find my voice late it will have to change. How does consistency fit into all this? Will I lose my audience or will they naturally start to follow the new me?

Hi Zarine, I think this is part of the journey. Writing online is definetly transformative. I started writing about parenting topics back in 2020. Now I write about marketing, social media, writing and online businesses. May people miss my personal stories but from time to time I still share my (messy) stories online.

Don't be afraid. I bet people will love the writer you'll become.

Hugs!

Hi Kristina. That's quite a journey..from parenting to 'writing' as a topic.

I think I'm discovering a college passion to become a copywriter but it's too early to say & a long road uphill as I have no experience in the line.

Thank you for your encouragement :) You rock!

Thank you for this well written, well paced and inspirational story! I stand with you on the deck of our writing ship heading out on to the tumultuous sea of life...I have been able to forge my own writing passion through absolutely dedicating myself to writing and publishing at least one story everyday in my own newsletter. I am absolutely committed and so far have missed only one day when I was in so much back pain to even compose. Being consistent changes everything! I know I can trust myself to step up, stand up, come to these keys and produce something beautiful from the deep well of my heart that is meant to be my way of serving the world which, of course, transforms and uplifts me in the process. I count myself fortunate to have found your substack and now be a subscriber! I look forward to every post and will dive into your arc hives.. Shine on!

Wow? 😲 Wow! Wow! Every single day? That's unbelievable. Are you also on Medium? If so, could you share your handle. I'd love to feature you and your success.

Dear One..I am not on medium yet, but am realizing I need to be. All my work, all my published stories are here: thedawninglight.substack,com. Of course, I would love to cooperate with you, as I feel in my heart that writers who believe in each other are like family and a family’s strength is in standing together and for each other…

So true. We need to stand together. If I see an interesting post from you, I'll restack it. Are you planning to join Medium? You could repurpose your Substack posts.

Thanks for the positive comments, Kristina!

They are like golden nuggets strewn in my path to where I intend, want and need to be…and are treasured as such.

Here is the real link to my Substack site: https://thedawninglight.substack.com/

I have been producing two issues every day, because I dedicated myself to that goal from the day I finally launched in 12/22.

I know that is what i need to “polish the jewels” and “master the craft” in a mix of new stories and content created over the past 60 years that i always knew was meant to be published. As a result of working with deadline and daily production, my writing and editing skills are improving rapidly to the point where I see so many ways to keep on evolving my work.

Right now, I do need to focus on growing my list and extending my reach and discoverability because I believe my work can really inspire and help millions of people…and I am still around 200 subscribers and 200 views per day.

Fortunately, i have total confidence in “my” work, which now is the priority one focus to every waking hour. I absolutely love it and know that this is the work and purpose I was born to do.

Repurposing to Medium is on my list of top 5 next moves.

Thanks for your suggestions.

My name is Chinmayan and great things are happening everyday!

I vote for consistency too. Easy once x becomes a habit.

Hi Mark, Exactly! 💯 If we can make writing or content creating a habit we practice every day, we'll see and feel magic. ✨ It's all about slow growth. I wish you a relaxing weekend,Mark. Talk soon ❤️

Hi Sue, oh many 🙏. This post was inspired by a conversation with a fellow writer last week about discipline. It's more about dedication and I really believe of you're showing up and feel a little bit uncomfortable every single day you grow and will see and feel the magic happen. 🪄

I wish you a wonderful weekend! All the best, Kristina

Super motivational. I really felt stuck although I was in a flow state the last past weeks. Now I will definetly put pen to paper and finish my project. Thanks so much! Wanted to share it via Twitter but it says there's an error. I guess Musk doesn't want Substack content on his platform... Have a nice weekend! I'll refer your newsletter

Hi, thanks so much 🌸 this was meant as an inspirational and motivational piece. Abit different from my usual advice or how to articles. It was inspired by a conversation with a writing pal who said he thinks I would be so *disciplined*. It's not discipline. It's dedication, sweat, tears and fun. When I write online I'm my own boss. That's what I like the most. Plus, I'm very proud of me when I manage to be consistent even if it's only 15 minutes before work. All the best for your project! I'm cheering you on.

Hi Mitchell, I feel you. I suggest asking yourself why you're doing this. Like ten times. Let's say you start with... Because I want to sell more books. Okay... So why are you doing this? For me, it's having more freedom for me and my family. That's my goal and what I'm fighting for.

Hope this helps a little ❤️
